On The Sixth Day of Sickness My Mother Gave To Me...

some prednisone. This is a picture of everything that we use to put medicine into my PICC line. It includes one syringe of Heparin, two syringes of saline, alcohol wipes, prednisone, and a clip. SASH is the order that we need to do things. SASH stands for Saline, Administor the drug, Saline, Heparin. In between each of those steps you have to clean the cap on the end of my PICC line with an alcohol wipe. We have to do this twice a day and twelve hours apart from each time.
